About me

Hello! I'm Natalie and I graduated from WIU with a Bachelor’s in Music Education. I have instructed many students in English and Music. I love to become fully engaged in all my students’ lives. They ask me for help in their studies, personal lives, and future school/college choices. I am strongly committed to teaching students with different backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and diverse academics. I am very neat, organized, prompt, a great listener, and work well with others. I have been working with kids both in home, and as an educator since I was 12 years old.

Besides being an educator and sitter, I am also a professional actor. My acting training has made me a super outgoing person and able to easily adapt to new settings. I am very active and would love to go to the park with your kids, take them swimming, or take them to Dave and Buster’s where even adults can be a kid!

I have been a Substitute Teacher in NYC for 5 years and have worked with infants to 12th graders. I also have done many Teaching Artist Positions and worked at after school programs. I especially love teaching kids Music and Drama. Tutoring is another specialty of mine! I have been tutoring students in NYC for 4 years. I can work with students on any subject, but I regularly tutor students in Math and English. I work with a lot of kids who have reading disabilities, learning disorders, and all type of obstacles that might put them on a lower learning level. I am equipped with so many strategies to help each child reach their full potential in their studies.

I love challenges and want to help challenge your child/children to new heights. I remember all the people who inspired me growing up, and I look forward to being able to pay that forward, and inspire children myself. My goal is to help each child reach their full potential while having fun, and I can't wait to continue that.
