About me

Being the oldest of three girls, I found myself in very natural caregiving role early in life. Once I graduated high school, I knew I wanted to continue working with kids and I started studying music education at New York University. It was here that I was exposed to my true passion: child-led learning.

In my following years of experience, I really began to explore the idea of learning through play. I am forever fascinated with children’s natural curiosity. Time and time again I find that my most compelling and genuine conversations has been initiated by a question - posed by the child - that I had never thought to ask myself before. These constant insights and new perspectives are why I love working with kids so much.

In my 7+ years of professional childcare experience, I have played many roles: tutor, teacher, aide, and nanny. I have worked with children in all stages of development, from newborns to high schoolers, and have found great satisfaction in all of it. Working with children is what I plan on doing for the rest of my life, and I feel very lucky to be able to continually serve my community in a way that adds as much to my life as it does to the children’s.
