About me

From the time I was teenager, I’ve been babysitting children in my community. It has always been very fun to watch kids play and hear them say the funniest things. Babysitting at such an early age encouraged me to get a bachelors degree in human development and then, a masters in education.

In my professional experience, I’ve taught 6th grade reading for three years, and supervised an early head start program for a year and a half for children ages 0-3 years old. Through these experiences I was able to enhance my skills on child development with hands on experience for children in a wide age range. I recently left the classroom to focus on developing a business as a birth doula and eventually, a birth educator.

I have also been consistently sitting two boys ages 3-6 for the past six years. The boys love to dance, do science experiments and build communities with their legos.

My passions are reading and working out. I enjoy the NYC museums and have access to free entrance to many museums around the city. I plan on becoming a birth educator and Lamaze instructor to help enhance the birthday experience for expecting families.
