About me

A day spent with me as a babysitter is a day that is safe, fun, warm, educational, and positive for your child, with lots of peace of mind for you! Over the past several years, I have taken care of every age group from 3 months old to 16 years. I love watching children because they make me laugh. I love playing with them, and helping to teach them to be good grown ups someday!

I think the most important thing I can do as a babysitter (besides making sure every little life I am entrusted with is protected and safe) is to bridge the gap between the time the children get to spend with their loving parents, and the time they spend with me. I can adapt to the family's parenting style, and I strive to teach them, and care for them as the parents would. When a parent comes home, I love to share with them the funny and cool things their child did or learned that day while they were gone.

Outside of babysitting, my passion in life is musical theatre and I work primarily as an actor in that field. This lends itself extremely well to playing games, thinking creatively and outside the box, and sharing music with all the children I work with. When I'm at home, I'm almost always in the kitchen because cooking is one of my biggest hobbies. I love creating fun and healthy meals whenever I get the chance.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I love sharing music with children and making up games that we can play using our imaginations. It is so satisfying to see kids tie together things they love watching or reading and making it jump off the screen/page by creating a game. I also love getting to teach the "little" skills, like mixing up eggs in the bowl for breakfast, to help them feel involved and "grown up."
