About me

I am originally from Mill Valley, California, right across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. I grew up with many different interests such as Mock Trial, writing, reading, hiking, watching sports, board games, playing guitar, singing, and acting. The singing and acting passions developed into my career, and I went to Penn State University for my BFA in Musical Theatre. I have always been focused on living a well-rounded lifestyle, which is why I loved going to a large university. I was able to balance theatre, general education studies, and a true college experience, which largely shaped who I am.

Since college, I have been based out of New York, and have gotten to know and love the city. I am generally pretty flexible with timing and schedules, and do not like to commit to anything I cannot prioritize. I consider myself reliable, responsible and able to adapt to many different people and families.

I love working with kids, and feel I am able to really connect with them in a fun way, while still maintaining an assertive sense of responsibility. I have had many years of childcare experience to draw from, from part-time and full-time babysitting, to camp counseling and teaching theater. I love the creativity and imagination of young elementary school kids, the curiosity of toddlers, and seeing middle schoolers and early high schoolers beginning to shape who they are.
