About me

I was born into an English- and Spanish-speaking household in Chicago. At the age of 12 I moved to New York City, where I attended LREI and then LaGuardia Arts High School for Drama. I continued my education at The Boston Conservatory, where I earned a BFA in Musical Theater and graduated Cum Laude.

I started babysitting at the age of 13 for my family and neighbors. I have always loved taking care of children. I was a counselor at the 92Y, and I currently babysit for various NYC families. I absolutely love exploring and learning as much as possible about what's going on in the world. Outside of childcare, I am an actor, comedian, and writer. My background in theater and improv make babysitting fun and interactive. It never feels like a job!

When caring for children, I am patient, fun, focused, and flexible. My golden rule in every aspect of life is communication! I always make sure to communicate clearly with children as well as parents, and I believe the better the communication, the better the experience for everyone.

One of my favorite activities to do with kids is to sing and make music! I have found that it's a fantastic way to connect with children and to exercise their imaginations. I love to incorporate funny voices and sounds, and to bring a sense of fun to all aspects of childcare, from homework and chores to playtime and everyday activities!
