About me
Ever since I was a very little girl, I have always wanted to take care of children. What began as an obsession with baby dolls led to eagerly volunteering to be a “mother’s helper” to any mom who would take me on, and eventually, when I was finally old enough, transformed into becoming the go-to neighborhood date night sitter in my hometown of Annapolis, Maryland.
Since then I have grown up, moved to New York, attended NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and have begun my career as an actor. Throughout this time, childcare has continued to be an important part of my life. As a babysitter, artist, and human being, I strive to be a kind, gentle, calm, responsible, and fun person to every child and family I have the privilege to get to know. I am constantly bringing to mind the adults who made a positive impact on my life as a child, and I hope to be that same presence for the kids that I care for.
As an actor, we are taught that the most important aspect of acting is listening. As a babysitter, I believe this is as equally important. I seek to always listen to the parent's needs and concerns, and for the child, listening to them so that I am able to see them for who they truly are: a person with their own unique strengths, challenges, experiences, and idiosyncrasies. If I am able to make a child feel seen and understood, safe, and taken care of, as well as providing space for fun and creativity, I know I have done my job.
