About me

I've babysat and nannied for literally hundreds of families in Chicago, New Orleans, and now Los Angeles. I love being very interactive and creative with kids and specialize in story time, songs, and art projects. I spent a year as a live-in nanny in Italy, and multiple years working with special needs children in New York. I'm also CPR and First Aid certified.

When it comes to the little ones, I've spent years caring for the newborn-toddler age, and absolutely love it! I particularly love watching and helping them grow and develop and witness their new daily discoveries. Nothing beats the first time they look over at you and say your name.

A big academic, I find it really satisfying to help pre-school and grade-school age kids to read, write, and spell with the use of fun games and songs. Even Cheerios or animal crackers can be a counting tool for basic math. I also fully believe in taking time away from screens and getting outside in the fresh air, moving, playing, and getting back to the old school fundamentals of fun. Games of tag, sidewalk chalk art, or a stroll to a nearby park are much more important to me than iPad time. We've got to keep these kids active, learning, and loving the world around them!
