About me

I have always been that person a child gravitates to and I feel like my happy, enthusiastic, childlike personality helps me relate to the children I work with daily. That, along with being responsible and having a patient and calm attitude, help me in my nanny positions. Over the past 10 years I have been involved in all areas in a child's life from planning birthday parties to planning activities on the family vacation.

While I enjoy sharing my love of art and music with children I also enjoy when I learn from them. For example, I share their excitement when they are on a sports team and can teach me how to play and practice at home with them. I have dealt with many different child personalities and have learned how to work with them. As they say it take a village and I work well with parents and anyone else they include on their team to help the children.

In addition to childcare I am able to handle other important tasks such as making appointments, contacting teachers, and signing up for activities. As a nanny I want to be someone that the parents trusts that not only will the child be taken care of but that I truly have an interest in their development as well because I take great pride in my work.
