About me

I am currently getting a functional focused masters in clinical nutrition and am looking for a position that I can work in tandem with school. I love to cook healthy meals, make veggie smoothies, and get kids excited about nutrient dense snacks! I also am specialized in managing food allergies. I am happy to help prepare meals for the entire family.

I have experience with children with special needs and believe that warmth, structure, play and healthy practices make for happy kids. I have been involved with theatre arts for 15 years and love to encourage the children I work with to express themselves through whatever creative mediums speak to them.

My goal as a nanny is to help children be their best; healthy, growing, creative, learning and happy. I have experience as a tutor, so am great for homework help, as well as the standard drop offs, pickups, meal preps, crafts, playdates, scheduling, grocery shopping, bedtime routines, and light house work. I can multitask and help out with whatever needed, including party planning and creating schedules. CPR certified, but I plan to take a refresher course before starting with a new family.

In 5 years, I hope to be...

I hope to be running my own functional nutrition practice, taking on private clients who are living with chronic conditions and possibly specializing in children with neurological disorders. I also am looking into getting my reiki training and incorporating energy work into my practice.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I really love nurturing creativity in children; may it be building a city out of play-doh, whipping up mystery berry chia seed pudding, or turning their room into a stage at the metropolitan opera. My specialty is making the mundane enjoyable and fun, like brushing teeth and doing math. I like to create low stress environments that are simultaneously productive. When helping the kids I work with feel good about themselves and making space for happiness, I have found eases the logistics of daily routine. My background in nutrition and childcare are skills I love using to motivate kids to follow healthy habits that make their bodies and minds strong!
