About me

Some basics about me include my love for children and animals; I say "hello" to almost every dog on the street but first I want to try and get a giggle out of a child. I also like to volunteer for animal/environmental causes during my free time. I did not know I would find my career at such young age, but back in high school I started an informal part-time after school babysitting job, and as time went by I found myself shifting gears for my college plans; I switched my path from health care to an education major thanks to this first position.

I have been a nanny for five years and a teacher for the last 4 I can honestly say these years have been the best of my life so far, I have been able to be part of two loving homes and 3 schools. This has led me to live beautiful experiences through children. Watching children reach their milestones or simply watching them physically grow from one week to another first hand is a wonderful gift and a huge privilege that we caregivers get.

I have an amazing support system and family, their love for me has been reflected in how I show affection and care for the children. Teaching through play is my favorite, as the next day or week you'll be reminded of what they learned from that specific time. Children don't forget easily and this is why I believe that a caregiver must truly be passionate about what he/she does, to make these childhood years the best of their lives and give them a gift I was given; a very sweet memory from childhood with amazing people surrounding them.
