About me

My name is Chloé, and I am a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College with honors in theatre, literature, and psychology.

As a childcare provider, my experience ranges from a full-time live-in nanny to a part-time babysitter, to teaching artist, ages 0 - 15. I love working with children and I take my time with your kids very seriously. As a caretaker, I want to engage kids! I always find ways to promote artistic development and imaginative exploration that is already so innate to children. This allows them to be creative--bolstering good behavior and even homework productivity. For many of my past clients, the kids and I have found ways to create stories, dances, word games, theatre pieces and the like! They love it, and I do too!

While every parent is different, one of the things I value about myself as a babysitter is I can adapt to each style of parenting, balancing both discipline and play. I enthusiastically take children on outings, museums, parks, and classes. I also am a great homework helper and cook! Currently, I'm still tutoring regularly so if this is something that your child needs, I'm well equipped to handle all subjects. Other benefits include my CPR and first aid certification.

I can't wait to work with your child/children and see what we can create together!

In 5 years, I hope to be...

Producing a TV show for a major network. Or smaller network. I'm also open to other career paths as they arise. A lot can change in 5 years!

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

Anything artistically related--whether that's dancing, drawing, or just making up a game. It's a great way to engage, if not, challenge the kids and in my experience, it's a huge crowdpleaser. Children's natural creativity is part of why I love my job.
