About me

Hi, my name is Rebecca and I have been a nanny for over 15 years. I am currently seeking a full-time position. I have had the pleasure of working with some wonderful families! I have experience working with children of all ages, from newborns, (premature babies, too) to elementary school ages. I am a college graduate and also CPR/First aid certified. My greatest joy in this type of work is the joy of seeing the little ones' faces after they have accomplished something, from arts and crafts to coloring a picture or finishing a puzzle. To see the smiles and the joy on their little faces! Just priceless.

I love cooking, baking, reading, and crafts. I strongly hold the belief that working with children requires a great deal of patience and love. I am great at helping with homework and school projects. My duties as a nanny include the overall care of the children, light housekeeping, cooking, and actively engaging the children. I love being a nanny because it is such a pleasure to watch the children learn and grow and being a part of that process brings such joy.

I have worked with some wonderful families, most of whom I still keep in touch with. With parents' permission, I have introduced many of the kids to recipes from my island. Cooking and baking are two of my many passions. I love trying out new dishes and love making the ones they love (even have them helping out). I love reading and singing to the children and can get them giggling very easily, even when in tears and ready to throw a tantrum. My first job as a kindergarten teacher taught me many things and one of the important qualities of working with children is to be patient. I think my skills and experience make me a great candidate, and I hope to meet your family soon!
