About me

Hi There!

I'm Michael John, a dancer, singer, actor, artist, and VERY fun childcare provider. I started babysitting when I was about 17. Ever since, I've worked with children in a variety of ways through camps, classes, workshops, and at their homes. I'm most experienced with children over 3-4 as I love being able to get outside and play in the park. As a college educated musical theatre performer, I love being active and engaging with my kids. Whether that means dancing in the living room or playing on a jungle gym, I love creating a safe, educational, and enjoyable environment.

What I value most is getting to watch a child grow and learn, knowing I'm aiding that process. Whether that means learning a new math equation, trying new foods (I love to cook!), learning to ride a bike, I'm there to help. And with my CPR certification, I'm ready to administer first aid in case there are any bumps along the way.

Most of my life experience is in the theatre, meaning my childhood was filled with fun activities, games, lessons, classes, etc. I've become the creative, passionate, outgoing, talented individual I consider myself to be because of that background. I love to share and create some of those experiences that shaped me with kids. When a child is having fun, learning more about themselves at the world, I know I'm doing a good service.
