About me

Hi, my name is Natalia. I am a California girl that recently moved from San Francisco to open a new childcare center in the Big Apple. I started working with children in 2004 as an after-school Preschool teacher and have worked with children of all ages. I graduated from California State University of Sacramento with a BS in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Family Studies. I also have my AA in Early Childhood Education and hope to continue my education towards a Masters Degree next year.

Most recently, I was Director for Bright Horizons at Genentech's 2nd Generation childcare center where I was fortunate to work with 125 children/families every day and team up with almost 40 teachers, on a campus where we had 500 children and over 200 staff. In September, I will be opening a large child care center at NYU Langone Hospital.

Over the years, I have worked with tons of families with children of all ages. I specialize in Infant/Toddler Development, but I love working with all children. I have experience working with twins, children with special needs, health accommodations, and administering medications.I am also CPR/ First Aid certified.

I truly enjoy partnering with families and caring for children. I was lucky enough to have had an amazing childhood and strive to create that for every child. I value being truly present for each child by engaging in meaningful conversations and creating an enriched experience.

My most recent long-term nanny assignments were with two families. I was with the "P" Family for almost 5 years. I cared for two boys, ages 5 and 8, twice a week after school. I prepared dinner and the lunches for the next day. I also did the grocery shopping and helped with laundry.

I also worked with the "S" Family where I cared for their daughter for 5 years evening and weekends since she was 4 months old. I also helped during sleep training and overnight trips.

I think the children I have cared for would say that "Natalia is good at reading stories and Going on Bear Hunts, and staying calm while solving math problems." The families I have worked with would say that I am detailed oriented, punctual, and flexible.
During my free time, I love taking Barre Class at Pure Barre. I also love using Pinterest for new recipes, DIY projects, and ideas to use in my classrooms.
