About me

Hello there!

I am an actress, singer, dancer, seamstress, and photographer with a love for kids! I like to describe myself as genuine, vivacious, and effervescent. I am known for my naturally energetic personality, and my big smile.

I have experience caring for ages 3 weeks to 13 years. This experience includes special needs, twins, and up to five children at a time. As a childcare provider, I believe in being fun, active, and interactive. I love to get kids moving and keep them away from phones and television as much as possible. Arts, crafts, music, and games are my favorite ways to keep kids creative and active.

I believe in following the rules, being responsible and respectful, being safe, and having fun. I love working with children because I love bringing joy and being a positive role model in a child's life. Children have fun with me as a sitter, because I'm not a sit-around person. I believe in being very hands-on with the kids, and being silly with them.

I find that I get more respect from children if we have a friendship and great communication, but I don't let that friendship get in the way of rules and discipline. I absolutely love to cook, so I can promise that your kids will always be well fed. I am very comfortable and confident cooking for different dietary needs. I love taking kids to the park and going on adventures.

Outside of sitting, I love constantly learning and doing. I am constantly involved and exploring, like the energizer bunny. I am incredibly passionate and driven, and a self-starter. Along with caring for your children, I will never leave a house messier than it was when I arrived! I'm always happy to help with chores around the house and will make sure your kitchen is spotless.

I want parents to be able to relax when they get home, and not clean. One of my favorite sitting experiences I had was with a sweet 7-year-old girl. The girl and I were like best friends the summer I watched her. We missed each other so much after that summer that the family actually drove to Ohio to see me play Belle in Beauty and the Beast.

I currently sit for an UES family with five children. The parents, and two youngest children speak very little English, so on top of caring for the kids, I also engage the two younger children in learning activities to help them learn English. We read a lot, talk a lot about colors, numbers, and shapes, and do a lot of drawing. On top of all of this, we love dancing and playing together. There is never a dull moment with five children.

I currently do a lot of sitting on an as-needed basis, and love serving as a date-night sitter.

Being a sitter isn't just a job. A sitter is a very important figure in a child's life, and can even become like family, so I believe in always being my best self, and being a positive role model for the children I care for. I hope that I can be a positive role model in your child's life!

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I have come up with many fun art games that I love sharing with kids! I am big on teaching kids about peaceful communication and sharing. Kids always love when I sing and dance with them. I also love teaching kids fun improv games. I always love learning what the kids love, and trying to find a way to interact with them with the things they love. A little girl I occasionally care for in the city loves bath bombs, so I picked up a bath bomb making kit, and we made bath bombs together for her. Another girl loves drawing, but is always running out of paper, so I got her a new drawing book, and we always enjoy drawing together when I’m with her.
