About me

Hello, my name is Kata. I am originally from Hungary. I completed my bachelor's degree in company management in 2002. After completing my degree, I worked as a finance manager at Hitachi Metals Ltd.

In late 2009, I relocated to New York City to help my cousins with her two children while she was having a difficult pregnancy with her third child. During that time, I met a nice Hungarian/American couple that was expecting a child at the end of 2009. They wanted their child to speak Hungarian and connect with the culture. A few months after their child was born, I began working with them and have continued to do so since. They now have two children, their ages are 9 and 6 years old.

Due to the fact that they are both in school now, I am searching for a new family to work with. Establishing trusting relationships is very important to me. I am a well-rounded individual that likes to incorporate many different activities while working with children.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and learning about new cultures and experiences. I love to go hiking and photograph nature. I am an avid reader and am talented at crocheting. I enjoy baking and trying out new recipes. Family is very important to me, and I try to catch up with them and friends often.
