About me

I am originally from the Seattle, WA area and moved to New York City to further my education in singing and acting. While I am currently pursuing a career in singing and acting, I have definitely found a new passion of mine in teaching and taking care of kids.

I have been teaching groups of kids for the past two years now in a performance arts setting and have loved it so much! I thrive on kids wanting to explore their creativity/imagination and am willing to be a goofball in order to provide a fun atmosphere for kids. However, I am also a huge stickler when it comes to the safety and discipline of children, making sure they are always in my sight at all times (or am made aware of their whereabouts), condoning dangerous play fighting/body space when it comes to kid interactions and reminding kids about respect, sharing and other related lessons.

On top of my teaching experience, I have provided after care for groups of up to 70 children, where I successfully kept these groups of kids in a secure/safe environment before their parents picked them up. Overall, I love children and am very excited to help those who need babysitting.

In 5 years, I hope to be...

Combining my loves for performing and teaching and hopefully opening or being apart of an organization that provides performing arts classes to underprivileged kids.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I love teaching kids fun acting exercises (improv and motion exercises), reading stories to them, playing "imaginary" games with them and I honestly wouldn't mind playing dress up with them if needed. I am definitely a kid a heart.
