About me

Originally from the sunshine of Tampa, Florida and with newer roots in Nashville, Tennessee, my current heart and home is in the great New York City! My name is Amanda, and I am a nanny with over 9 years of childcare experience. With a full-time working mother (go Mom!), I grew up with nannies and babysitters and always looked up to them. I always hope to inspire the children I am with because of these influences in my own life.

I love all things art, athletics, and adventure. Some of my favorite sports to play include basketball, baseball, and soccer, and I LOVE to run, cycle, and ski. Other interests include acting (of course!), reading, writing, playing the piano, and cooking.

I have experience with a wide range of ages, from infants through preteens, both short- and long-term. I would say I have the most experience between the ages of 2-10 years old. I love both indoor and outdoor activities with kids. I am always in search of a good adventure. And I definitely do not at all mind cooking dinner, running errands, and keeping things clean. I tend to like a good balance of FUN and order.

Side note: I have my driver's license (including a clear driving record!) and a valid US passport - I am definitely open to traveling!
