About me

My name is Hayley and I am originally from South Florida. I moved to New York City when I was 18 to attend NYU, where I studied vocal performance with a concentration in Music Theatre. I starting babysitting for my cousins and family friends while in middle school and continued to babysit more professionally when I moved to New York while attending college. I love every second of it!

I spent 5 summers in Fort Lauderdale directing children of ages 5-18 in musicals as well as teaching private voice and piano lessons. I always looked forward to the summers directing children because it was a way to let our creativity soar and to see just how far these kids could grow and challenge themselves creatively in just a few weeks. I babysat for a handful of families and continue to do so post grad. I have experience with children ages 2-17, some kids with special needs.

For the past year I have been managing a high end salon in NYC seating anywhere from 350-400 clients. Managing requires honest and open communication, reliability, and high responsibility and I feel as though these are important in childcare as well. I know how to stay positive in any situation. I know how to defuse a situation if things feel like they are getting out of hand. My managerial experience mixed with my theatrical background make for a great caretaker and I'd love to help out in any way that I can!
