About me

As the oldest of three, I have always felt a strong desire to nurture and take care of others. A natural leader with a deeply compassionate and empathetic spirit, childcare brings great joy into my life. I'm an actress and a writer, and I love to share my passions for theater and writing with the children I take care of. In addition to babysitting, I have also taught theater to young children, which is one of my greatest hobbies.

I am a recent Stanford graduate, and for the past five years I babysat for a family with two children ages 9 and 11, but I also have ample experience babysitting children between the ages of 6 and 13. I loved working with the children mentioned above because one of our regular activities was to put on plays and musicals. Nothing made me happier than watching those kids sing and dance in their living room with costumes and props.

One time when I arrived at the house to babysit, the kids had created scripts and were waiting patiently for me to arrive so that we could put on a full production for their parents when they came home from their dinner party. I helped the kids memorize their lines, we built a little set in their living room with pillows and blankets, and we even made a little program to give to their parents that gave a short synopsis of our musical. This was an amazing experience both for the kids and for me, because it felt like I had truly combined some of my greatest loves in life: children and theater.
