About me

I was born and raised in Eastern Europe, republic of Georgia.
I was the oldest child and only girl in the family, so I was always helping everyone around, my younger brother was born when I was 12, my mom had to go back to work, I took a huge part in raising my brother, at that age I learned how to change a babies diaper, make his bottle and feed him, play with him, read books with him.
When I was 14 I got a babysitting job in about two blocks away from where I lived, I had to take care of two year old girl who's mom was going to school few hours a day.
I took the girl to the park, to walk, played with her at home, read books with her and fed her before her mom got home.
I worked for her over two years.

This kind of environment strongly influenced me and after graduating high school I decided to become a teacher, I knew that would give me an opportunity to work, be around children and watch them grow and learn every day.
After graduating the state university of Tbilisi(republic of Georgia)I worked at the elementary school with children of ages 2-7.
Soon after I applied for a visa to US to work as an au pair in the family, I thought that would be a great chance for to learn different culture and how
Children grow up here, the ways or learning and teaching.
The very first family I worked for in US was in Connecticut, they had 4 children, 6 and 3 year old girls and 6 month old boys.
My job consisted of taking care of twins most of the time, their mom was very busy with girls schedule.
Little boys took a nap and ate different times before I met them, that was hard to manage,I gradually put them on the same feeding and napping schedule which made everybody's life easier and their mom was very grateful.
I would take them for a walk, to their music and gym classes, i read for them and played with them.
After my contract with them expired, I moved to New York, i started to work in upper east side , with the family who had two little daughters 2 year old and 2 weeks old, I took care of older one, I had so much fun with her, she was very girly and she was all about dressing up as a princess, have tea parties. I enjoyed reading books for her and playing with her. I used to take her to her french and ballet classes, later to her school.
I ocasionally cooked for her, my boss called me a "pancake queen":)
I also did her laundry, organized book shelves and her closet, I love orginizing stuff.
We lived very close to Central Park and because she loved animals so much we visited Central Park zoo almost every day.
After almost three years I did not want to work live in any Kure so, i had to live the family.
2007-2017. My next job where I worked for 10 years, was in Brooklyn, the family had two little boys, 2 years old and 10 months old.
They are the most amazing boys in the world, now bigger than I am.
I was very busy with them, I played with them, we used to sit for hours to build legos, put puzzle pieces together, we played outside in the parks, we went to walks.
I read for them, we draw together.
As they got older, I spent time playing basketball either in their back yard or in the park, they think I have a natural talent for it:)
We used to shop together fir Halloween costumes.
We went to CMA and natural history museum sometimes, so much fun!

I did their laundry, orginized their play room, their bedrooms.
When the boys went to school for full time, I still worked for them in the afternoons and their mom helped me to find a morning job.
2014-2017 My morning job was in TriBeCa, I cared for 2 months old boy, I did everything related to him: feeding, bathing, cooking healthy vegetable purée when he started eating regular food.
When he was older, he had a baby sister and then I was taking care of Both of them, their mom stayed home so we worked together.
Sometimes their parents have traveled in 3 years and half I worked for them, i stayed at their house and took care of the children, they have outmost trust of me.
I also traveled with them few times.

Lastly I wanted to say that I am a kind, caring, responsible and up beat person, I love being around children and they love my energy.
My boss calls me a "baby whisperer" for a reason.
