About me

Hello! My name is Logan. I am a trustworthy, energetic, bubbly, CPR certified nanny who loves caring for children. I graduated from The Ohio State University where I majored in Speech and Hearing Science with minors in Human Development & Family Studies and Theatre. I am a very creative person; I love to come up with crafts and activities. Cooking is another passion of mine. I come from a long line of wonderful cooks and I am so blessed that I can carry on family legacy through the traditions and dishes they created. I am also a very tidy person, my mother taught me to always leave a home better than you found it.

I have many years of childcare experience. Caring for children of all ages has made me in tune with their age-specific needs. More recently I cared for a family with a one-year-old and a four-year-old. We loved to play outside, blow bubbles, go on walks, and play educational games. With the one-year-old I made sure to adhere to his nap schedule. I would change his diaper, read him a book and then sing him a lullaby. I will never forget one day I was singing to him and he had his head on my shoulder, he then looked up at me and mouthed, "I love you." My heart melted. I adored this family and have so many wonderful memories.

I also cared for a family with twins- a boy and a girl- age 8. I picked them up from school, safely drove them home and we would start on homework together. Once homework was completed we had the rest of the evening to play. Some of their favorite activities were hide and seek, coloring, kickball, and making Lego creations. I had such a great school year with the kids.

If I could describe myself in one word it would be trustworthy. I am a small town girl who grew up in Ohio. When it comes to childcare, trust is key. Parents will feel at ease knowing they can depend on me.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

My favorite thing to teach children is the importance of kindness. My mother always taught me that whatever you do, you must do it with a kind heart. I also love coming up with arts and crafts. I usually find fun projects for the kids and me to do for every holiday, like cards for Mothers'/Fathers' Day, hand turkeys for Thanksgiving, and pumpkin paper mache for fall. I like doing homework with the children. I believe I have a firm grasp on all the school subjects. Overall, I like being active and try to avoid screen time as much as possible.
