About me
I am a native New Yorker who has been living in the city for the last 18 years. I am creative and fun, and enjoy all things the city has to offer. I have a positive attitude, and I have also been complimented for my calm demeanor and great personality. I really care about the work I do. I am highly organized, I am family-oriented and love spending time with my family and friends. I am a bit of a pop culture buff, have a great sense of humor, and I like to keep my friends and family laughing.
I have always worked with children, whether it was my family asking for help with my brother or cousins, or my friends’ children.
I started my career as a Professional Nanny about 10 years ago. I have cared for children ranging from ages 2 months to 11 years, including multiples. I can be counted on to be reliable, punctual, hardworking and fun! I believe reading is an important part of each day. I maintain an organized household, including the management of the children’s schedules, as well as straightening up and keeping things neat and tidy. I also help with shopping and grocery runs.
I think it’s good to spend time outside with the children, either on walks or at parks and playgrounds. I do not have any strict philosophies on discipline, but I believe in being a positive role model by being polite, respectful, and courteous to others.
I have professional child care experience with...
- Infants
- Toddlers
- Preschoolers
- School-aged (K-5)
- Preteen
- Twins
- Multiples

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
Reading is one of my favorite skills to share with children. I read to them as babies and throughout childhood. I had instilled such a love of reading in one of my kids that she became the best reader in her class. Her mom said it was because of me! Baking can be a really fun activity because it can engage children of many ages from a younger child who can help with mixing the batter, to someone a bit older who can help prepping and measuring ingredients.
