About me

I have always known that any career that I chose would involve children. Being a nanny allows me to not only be surrounded by children but to use my skills and experience to help them develop into happy and healthy kids. I have a background in business management. My interests reading, traveling, being outdoors, cooking and taking care of children. I truly enjoy being with children.

I raised one daughter and my grandson and are very proud of both of them. My daughter graduated Baruch College with her BA and my grandson is in Grade 2. I have years of childcare experience starting from Gymboree type classes through Middle School. I have experience with taking care of newborns as well as school-aged children. I am also well-versed in taking care of multiple children. I simply love caring and helping them develop their skills and finding themselves.

My family and friends have always called me the baby whisperer and I think that is because children respond instinctively to my nurturing and positive energy. I have found over the years that using my upbeat and outgoing personality makes it possible to get children to complete tasks.

While being fun and a cheerleader for kids is part of my job, it is equally important that I be reassuring and loving when a child needs me to be. My ability to provide a secure and safe environment for children is perhaps one of my greatest strength. I am very organized and like to craft that ability in children at a young age and it is a very good skill set for them to develop in life.

Open and honest communication with the family and nanny is the key to a successful and long-term working relationship.
I truly believe the best ways for children to learn is through reading, playing and exploring. I enjoy developing young minds and caring for them, I also love cooking, reading and being outdoors.
