About me

Hello! I'm a Pacific Northwest native turned recent New Yorker. I've been babysitting since I was in high school and have always loved getting to hang out with kids of all ages. My childcare experience includes everything from part-time babysitting to full-time nannying and a little bit of everything in between! I've led childcare classrooms full of 15 three years olds, spent weeks as a camp counselor to a cabin full of 10 year olds, and and taught group lessons to a room full of children of all ages. As a nanny and babysitter, I've been able to work with every age group, from newborn babies to high schoolers.

My 10 years of experience as a private violin teacher provided plenty of opportunity to spend time with students from 3 years old to 18 years old. Through sharing my love of music, I've encountered so many different learnings styles and personalities. Spending time with children through private violin lessons or through any of my babysitting/nanny opportunities has helped me grow as a flexible, kind, and patient caregiver.

I grew up with two sisters and as a result, I understand how sibling dynamics can be both wonderful and complicated! I’m happy to take on the challenge of working with multiple child families. I love being outside and active in my own life and would love to work with families who are up for card games, parks, board games, tag, hide and seek . . . you name it!
