About me

For over 10 years, I have cared for kids of various ages from infants to teenagers. Each age group has taught me something new about life, from its inner workings to its external social dynamics. My longest nannying position was for a 4 month old and three year old for about two years. I’ve found it fascinating watching their minds develop and ideas connect. It’s been deeply humbling to be beside them as they navigate life.

My background in neuroscience, cognitive science, and sustainable food systems, as well as my experience with different cultures and environments while studying, teaching, and traveling abroad (in Italy, Indonesia, Australia, Canada, and Iceland, in particular) have shown me the importance of the environment (social and natural) and of mindsets in how humans develop. I’ve studied and observed the factors that influence happiness, growth, and resilience, and I apply them to help encourage the development of well-rounded and holistically healthy children. I aim to inspire their best selves as individuals and as members of their families and community.

My diverse background in both hard and social sciences enable me as an educator and caretaker to fulfill not only just your child's basic physical needs, but also to enrich their social, emotional, mental, and spiritual growth through rich creative and intellectual pursuits.

I am happy to work with you to determine your values and desires for how to raise your children, and to be the Mary Poppins-like extension of yourselves for whom you search!
