About me

I grew up as the oldest girl in a large extended family and was always surrounded by children of all ages, and therefore the "go to" in-house babysitter for as long as I can remember. I am comfortable and feel at home when with children; and I think most children would say the same thing about me.

Through my experience in the theatre as an actress, I've learned to be resourceful, creative and how to improvise in new situations and environments. My friends and coworkers would say I have a positive and enthusiastic energy. T

Through my work as a Child Guardian on Broadway and working with professional Child Actors, I have learned patience and how to assist, comfort and care for children who are in high pressure and demanding situations, so that they don't really feel the pressure or demands on them.

I love working with children because they are curious, full of energy and keep life exciting. I share their sense of curiosity and playfulness. I am happiest when playing and pretending, which is probably why I am an actor! While being amiable to new situations, I also appreciate and work well in a structured environment. I think it is important for a sitter to adapt and take on the same rules as the parents, so as not to confuse the children and keep constant expectations.
