About me

My name is Selena and I am originally from a small island in Washington state. After I graduated from The University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Musical Theater, I moved to New York to further my acting career while continuing to care for awesome children!

Over 5 years of experience as a babysitter have given me a passion for helping children grow, learn and have fun. I have cared for children from 3 months to 11 years old. My years of experience have given me skills in changing diapers, bottle-feeding, cooking, baking, and caring for sick children. I also have the ability to confront bad behavior by disciplining in fair and caring ways. I love to generate indoor and outdoor activities that are creative, engaging, and keep the kids entertained for the time that I am with them.

I am a very outgoing and creative person. As an actress, I am constantly developing new characters and worlds. I love working with kids because I am given the opportunity to do this everyday in a fun and playful environment. I am a hands on babysitter and would much rather spend time exploring outside with the kids than sitting inside, watching television.
