About me
Working with children has become second nature to me to the point where it doesn’t feel like work! I’m very nurturing, I share my love with all children, and genuinely enjoy teaching them something new every day! I have 7 years and counting of experience in working with children. I’ve cared for newborns - school aged children. In addition to nannying for families, I also worked as a teacher assistant at a Montessori preschool.
I enjoy reading to children, engaging them in new projects - arts and crafts, teaching, homework help, and healthy exercise.
Aside from my career as a nanny, I have a BA in journalism from SUNY, Albany. I love writing and have also grew to love the communications field. I have experience in PR, writing, and administrative assistant experience.
I’m open to caring for your child/children, being a house manager, personal assistant, etc. I have great organization skills, prioritizing, and maintaining a safe environment for your family. I’m also willing to cook meals for your children, clean their rooms, do laundry, wash the dishes, and give baths.
If you’d like to inquire further, feel free to reach out! I look forward to being a care provider for your family.

In 5 years, I hope to be...
In 5 years, I hope to be successful career wise and become more independent. I see myself living on my own and making my family proud and prove that I can be on my own successfully. I’d hope to be established in a career with a senior-level position.
Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
One of my favorite things to do is reading. I believe in the power of books and words. Reading should be introduced at infancy. With infants, I love giving cuddles and singing lullabies and nursery rhymes. With toddlers/preschoolers I love to teach basic life skills such as: hand washing - which should be monitored - putting on their own jackets (Montessori Flip), putting on shoes, and learning how to wear their clothes correctly. Also, learning ABC's, 123's, colors, and shapes are necessary of course. Another thing is singing and playing musical instruments. At this age, they love this activity because it's fun, and I love it because it puts a smile on their faces. With school aged children, they are pretty much self sufficient. I love learning what games they like to play. In the past I've done science experiments such as making slime - they love it! I also help with homework: reading, writing, math (algebra and some geometry). When it comes to screen time, I believe that if the parent allows them it should be limited, and I go with the parent's rules.
