About me

Hi there! I am from North Carolina, and I'm so excited to continue working with great families. A little about me: after graduating from UNC with a theater degree, I opted out of moving to New York right away, and instead spent some years traveling and falling in love with farming and sustainable agriculture. This led me back to North Carolina eventually, where I was able to split my time between theater making and farming. I have a wonderful community in NC, but my friends working in theater in NYC convinced me to come make plays with them. So here I am!

I have also worked as a theater teacher and a nanny over the past few years. I find so much joy and value in spending time with young people. I love sharing stories, adventures, and ideas with kids. They are such a rich source of wisdom and imagination, and I find the world a little more sparkly and hopeful when I get to spend some time seeing it through their eyes (or at least trying to!) My mother worked in early childhood development, and from her I’ve gained an appreciation for how nuanced the growing up process is, and all the ways there are to support kids in becoming kind, curious, and engaged people.
