About me

As a young child, I always wished for a younger sibling. Although that was never in the cards, it didn't stop me from trying to help babysitters with young children on the playground. My Mother once told me that when I was four, I spent the afternoon on a vacation hanging out in the nursery helping the nannies. From that moment on, I have always loved being a mentor to children.

When I fell in love with theatre, I knew that I had to share that passion with others. After graduating from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, I continued to work as a teaching artist with children while working as an actor. I love to share my love of the arts with children. It gives me so much joy to watch a child discover new things and fall in love with story telling. I have found that my students teach me just as much as I teach them.

I've worked with children ages 2-15 and more specifically in a nursery school setting.I am extremely organized, responsible and safety conscious. I love the expression that "structure will set you free." I love to read, sing, and play, but I am personally a fan of structured activities especially when they they are creative!

I always appreciate the little things. There is truly nothing like seeing the joy in a child's eyes when they feel accomplished or are having fun. I am always grateful for those moments.
