About me

After my sister was born when I was 14, I became well versed in all things baby! I have extensive experience with infants and toddlers, working as a babysitter, nanny, and overnight sitter. My babysitting experience extends to school aged children and teenagers. In addition to working for many wonderful families, I've also served as a playwriting teaching artist at a middle school, as a summer camp counselor, a children's theatre performer, and I now work as an occasional substitute teacher at Poly Prep Lower School.

I'm highly dependable, laid back, and proactive. I like to provide a secure, structured environment that allows children to feel at ease. I'm an actor/writer so I also love to exercise imaginations and engage in creative activities. I play the ukulele and regularly bring it along for sing-alongs. I have an active babysitting style, engaging in play, reading books, crafting, and going on outings. In the past, I've worked with families who had me take their children to yoga classes, music classes, museums, and even the beach! One of my favorite parts of working with children is the joy of discovering new things together.

Originally from North Carolina, I've now lived in Brooklyn for five years. I majored in Acting, I'm a UCB performer and I'm working on several exciting film projects. I love yoga, reading, and singing Reba McEntire at karaoke.
