About me

Originally from Argentina, my love for art and cultures has taken me around the world. And I began to take care of children at the same time I became involved with art, taking photographs and painting with my younger brothers. When I moved to Italy to finish high school at an international school, I taught playful art workshops in Italian to a group of Italian and Slovene children, who were my best Italian teachers! I really enjoy being energized by children's curiosity and creativity. During college, it seemed natural to pursue my artistic endeavors, and I now continue to work on collage and drawing as well as organizing art exhibitions. I also became a Gender Studies major, learning and unlearning gender stereotypes from around the world.
I am highly organized, punctual, and intellectually curious which allowed to curate and help organize exhibitions with art from around the world. My multicultural upbringing and creativity allow me to relate to children of diverse backgrounds equally. The desire to share art took me to lead a bilingual, multicultural project in upstate New York with sons and daughters of Spanish-speaking migrants of all ages. I have been vegetarian since I was fourteen and really enjoy cooking.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

Making art projects: collages, small murals, decorations, learning about famous artists and making projects inspired by them, reading stories and making art out with it; building things out of legos or other materials, going out for walks and noticing the art around, baking cookies; playing sports.
