About me

Throughout the course of the past 6 years I have worked as an occasional child care provider within three different families. I had the privilege to see them grow from being toddlers to becoming elementary school kids. My responsibilities usually included preparing healthy meals and snacks, helping children put away toys, supervising bath time, and ensuring children went to bed at regularly scheduled times to uphold daily routine schedules. Further, I provided continuous supervision to children during indoor and outdoor activities and created and maintained safe learning and playing environments.

When working with children I like to create stimulating educational and fun environments to enrich children’s joy, minds and establish positive social behaviors. I also like to encourage artistic expression through storytelling, innovative games, and drawings. Although I do not have an educational background in childcare, I love working with children. I am able to share my (artistic) knowledge with children as well as being reminded of the beautiful aspects of life that we as adults sometimes seem to forget.

The early years of every child are especially crucial and it gives me great joy if I can help bringing out the best of them by encouraging them to explore their unique potential.
