About me

Hi there! My name is Tara, and I am a singer, and adventurer. My love for music and theater brought me to NYC almost 15 years ago from Dallas, Texas. Since then, I have made my living as an artist, as well as working in the hospitality business, and working with children. I have been lucky enough to have travelled extensively around the world, visiting over 70 countries along the way, and have immense respect for other cultures and ways of life.

My child care experience ranges from teaching preschool, to working as a nanny. Children are pure joy! There is nothing sweeter or more precious than a child's laugh, and I find it a privilege to spend time with them, and nurture their sweet spirits. I have had the most experience working with children under the age of 5, but I am very comfortable with children of any age. Whatever the age, I think it is very important to get on the child's level, and show that you are fully interested and focused on them. I am warm and kind, and children are drawn to that.

Being a musician allows me to share my joy of music with others, and I love it. Whether it's singing, dancing, or just listening to music. I also love animals, practicing yoga, and volunteering for Habitat For Humanity. I am currently working towards my real estate license, and love home improvement projects, like organizing, remodeling and renovating.
