About me

Hello!

My name is Meg. Two fun facts about me: 1) I was born and raised in New York City, and 2) I am an identical twin!

I hope that my caregiving services meet the needs of you and your family!!

I provide a safe, fun, engaging, and loving caregiving experience for your child. My caregiving approach is characterized by my deep love and appreciation for children, as well as my well-versed skill set and training from years of experience in working with children. I have worked with children in all stages of development starting as young as newborn, ranging up to 18 years old. My roles in working with children have ranged from babysitter and nanny, to camp counselor and dance instructor, to interventionist in a research setting, and finally a school psychologist. I am currently employed as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist in a middle school in New York City. I have worked with children from a multitude of cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, and with children of special needs and gifted populations. I cherish the variety of experiences that I have had with children, as I have formed meaningful relationships with the families that I have worked with that I will hold close to my heart forever. These experiences have further developed my skill set, and have shaped who I am today, both personally and professionally.

In my caregiving approach, I value consistent communication and a working relationship with you as a parent. I am eager to learn about your child's needs, interests, and strengths, through your perspective as the child's parent, and the person who knows him or her best. I will always prioritize your recommendations and your interests for your child.

I enjoy children, so I want them to enjoy me! The activities that I will engage in depend on both the needs and interests of you and your child. I take pride in my ability to keep children engaged and entertained by responding to their interests. I am willing and open to engaging your child in a variety of activities, however I place safety and interest first. Activities that you may see include reading, writing, homework, interactive games, as well as creative activities like listening to music, making music, dancing, drawing, etc. I am more than happy to help with preparing or cooking meals, providing snacks, bedtime, and bathing needs.

I am pet loving! I am trained in CPR and First Aid. I am flexible with changes in time and scheduling!

Most importantly, I so look forward to meeting you, and enjoying the wonderful experiences that I have the privilege of gaining from you and your child!
