About me

Growing up the youngest of 5 children, there hasn't been a day where I wasn't surrounded by kids and the process of raising them. This only continues, as I am a proud aunt to 16 nephews and nieces, ranging from ages 2--17 years old. I’ve always had a heart for kids, so I decided about 10 years ago to apply for a nanny position, met my first family, and have had the pleasure of working with other families as well! Also, I am an actress/singer, so enjoy being creative and encouraging kids to use their imagination fully! As an artist, I find the energy and creativity of children inspiring and fun to help and watch develop.

I began my professional childcare experience in New York City about 10 years ago, looking after a then 5-year old girl for 3 years. My care of her was primarily after school, helping her with homework, setting up playdates, cooking her dinner, and putting her to bed. Occasionally, I would watch her full time when she was out of school, scheduling activities/outings, as well as managing their household (grocery orders, cleaning, maintenance, etc.). Outside of this, I also looked after two kids, ages 18 months and 3 years old for a few months, playing with them, changing diapers, and ensuring their safety while parents were away. In addition, I've babysat for several families in both the New Jersey and New York area, ranging from infants to teen years, so feel very comfortable with all ages.

Whether it be play time, making simple meals, taking them on outings, or organizing/keeping the schedule on track, I enjoy the work I've done with kids. I am a fun, smart, energetic person with a great work ethic, and consistent reliability. I value attention to detail, good communication, and am a real team player! Currently, I am looking for a more long-term commitment, preferably a year (and perhaps beyond, if the fit is right for everyone!). It is always my goal to provide the most trustworthy and loving environment for you and your children.
