About me

I am originally from Nepal and came to United State of America as a student. I did my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from University of Minnesota, Crookston and am now pursuing my Masters in Early Childhood Administration, Supervision and Leadership online from Walden University. I am currently living in New York City with my siblings.

I have almost 6 years of professional experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. However I have always been around children ever since my childhood and taking care of my younger siblings and now my nephews has always been my responsibilities in our family. I taught toddlers for a year at KinderCare in Minnesota. Later, after I moved to New York City, I taught preschool and prekindergarten at Children's Creative Learning Center. Working with various age groups has broadened my knowledge of children.

In the near future I see myself working in the administration field of early childhood. Due to increasing numbers of immigrants’ families, I have seen the needs of quality childcare centers in my neighborhood.

Teaching children has always been my passion and working with them gives me the greatest joy. Besides teaching, I also babysit for occasional nights, weekends and weekdays. Working with children has never tired me.
