About me
Hi! I’m a Boston College graduate / former CPA with ten plus years experience working with kids, as a nanny, tutor, coach, camp counselor and mentor. I love working with children of all ages and interests, and am well-versed in everything from Pokemon battles and beanie-boo make-believe to playground football and pickup soccer. Moms would describe me as fun, energetic and reliable - the one they’d text for help when late to pick-up, but also the one kids flock to for shoulder-rides and tag on the playground.
In addition to nannying I write fiction, and find working with kids as a fun and flexible way to make money. I am also tutor at Mathnasium, a math learning center for kids K-12. While there I strive to make learning as fun as possible, and am happy to bring my reading, writing and math expertise for help with homework and studying for tests.
Sports have been a big part of my life (I grew up playing football, basketball, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, golf, and tennis) and I love teaching kids about teamwork, honesty, effort, dedication, and the perfect spiral. I am more than happy to play quarterback, pitcher, or goalie for hours (I rarely get tired).
I promise you will not find a candidate more reliable, patient, and willing to ensure that your kids are safe and happy. The children I care for become like family, and I look forward to building that same connection with you and your kids.
