About me

Hello everyone my name is Krystle Haynes and I'm originally from a little island called Barbados. Coming from a big family I was always surrounded by children and I'm one of the eldest of four. I've babysat my siblings and many family members from the time I was 14 years old which led to me to being a nanny. I first became a nanny at the age of 20 years old and have loved working with families one on one ever since. I often think that children teach me as much as I teach them. I’m resilient, attentive, reliable, flexible, have a strong knack for being safe and expressing safety protocols to children. I’m
empathetic, compassionate, , loving ready for cuddles, patient, able to pay attention and listen to a child when they are expressing themselves and problem solving to help them understand under any situation. I’m a great multitasker, always ready to take the initiative to help keep things organized within the home to have the day run as smooth as possible. I’m transparent and communicative on the happenings of our day to day activities with photos included so the parents can feel involved. I adapt well to
change as we all know life have a funny way of doing so. I’ve strived to always put my integrity first which allows the parents to put their trust in me and hold it to a high regard. I mean avid reader and thus encourage it. I’m creative with arts and crafts, science projects, board games, active with running around and keeping up with the little ones. Creating play to keep and peek the interest of your child especially on those rainy or cold days where we may be indoors all day. Television is not an option as there are so much we can do that can be fun, exciting and educational all in the same . Any family who would invite me to be part of their children’s love village won’t be disappointed in who I am and what I represent!!

In 5 years, I hope to be...

I hope to extend my knowledge in becoming an exceptional nanny to families- if that may include studying to one day become a midwife.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I love to welcome the idea of age appropriate children to help and to supervise them in the kitchen whether it's making sandwiches for lunch, cracking eggs for breakfast or helping me measure ingredients to bake delicious cookies, homemade granola bars or cupcakes . I don't forget to encourage good and healthy eating habits . I'm very active as stated before so encourage being active with your child whether we bring a ball to the park to play soccer or play catch. Running around playing old school games of red light, green light, Simon says, or playing freeze tag. I like to teach a child friendship & teamwork, to share and take turns with friends and siblings, and to let them know it's not about competing against each other but playing together in fairness with compassion. I love the idea of science projects and learning components of what ingredients make a bath bomb and why it fizz or building a robot from a kiwi crate with instructions. Whatever may peek your child’s interest I am strongly active in helping them explore and experience whatever their curious mind takes to
