About me
I have been a babysitter every since I can remember! I am a big sister first and foremost. I begged my parents for a little brother and thought that he was mine to take care of from the day that he was born. I have always loved being a mentor and big sister. I feel that that has been one of the most important and most fulfilling "jobs" in my life. It comes natural to me.
I have always loved kids. I started actually babysitting when I was about 12. I took a babysitting course at my local library as soon as I was old enough, because I couldn't wait to start sitting. My first family was one of 4 kids! All different ages and energy levels! I loved working with them and am still in touch with them to this day.
I also have many younger cousins in my family that I have loved/cared for/babysat since they were born. We even have triplets, so I have quite a lot of experience with multiples!
I have since moved on to the big city and have had a few childcare jobs here and there. I am an actor involved in musical theatre and audition as much as I can! The theatre has instilled a love of music and creativity in me that I love to bring to the kids that I work with. I am an avid reader and love to watch kids light up when they hear an interesting story.
All in all, I love being a part of the childcare industry! It is incredible to watch children learn and to learn from them.
